The Derrick Law Firm

I completed a Visual/UX Design internship with Derrick Law Firm, one the largest and most reputable law firms in South Carolina, where I led a full redesign of the firm’s website. Shown here are the highlights from the project.

Building authority.

The home page is the firm's digital front door. I focused on establishing credibility from the first second, using a clean, professional layout and clear calls-to-action. The design guides users to essential information while assuring them they're in capable hands.

Navigating legal services.

Legal services can be overwhelming. I designed the Practices page to be a straightforward resource, organizing complex information into easily digestible sections. The goal was to help potential clients quickly identify the specific legal help they need without getting lost in jargon.

Connecting locally.

Finding a local legal team should be effortless. I created a user-centric design that allows clients to easily find and connect with the nearest office. The page highlights essential contact details and provides a clear path to get in touch.

Showcasing trust.

In the legal world, social proof is everything. This page was designed to showcase client success stories in a way that feels authentic and impactful. The layout prioritizes readability and genuineness to build trust and confidence.

Designing for transparency.

This page tackles a sensitive and forward-thinking topic head-on. My design focuses on clarity and transparency, explaining the firm's position on a complex subject. This demonstrates an innovative mindset and reinforces the firm’s commitment to ethical standards.
